Mrs. Daisy Cormier, 76, of Memramcook East died Saturday (20 septembre) at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a sudden illness.
Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Adélaïde (Bourque) Smith. She was a housewife and attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Cormier; a daughter, Mrs. Alyre Cormier (Loretta) of College Bridge; four sons, Aurèle of Memramcook, William of Belliveau Village, Blair of Waltham, Mass., and Roger of Billerica, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Dobson of England; two brothers, Louis of Winnipeg and William of St. Foy, Que.; 21 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
